    Cue nostalgia! 1975 I think, overnight coach down setting off from sporting club. Got there very early, someone bought a ball, football game played on Tor Abbey Meadows, group photo on front page of Torquay rag. Can't remember if we won, drew or lost. Those were the days.

    Hope Stockport come back up always had a good little rivalry with them, good to get a throwback team back instead of some of the crap in recent years like Sutton and Harrogate.

    There were a few things landing at Stockport during those night games in the 70’s….usually building bricks! The trains from the Exchange were something else!
