    I don’t know Phil Wollias, but if he’s got coaching badges he’d maybe be a better fit for the transfer committee than Mason.

    I thought he was? Or at least he did some of the “interview” stage, to check the character of the player etc? (That’s been mentioned before).

    Area manager, formerly Ops Manager at British Gas the Thackley bloke I think. I’m sure he’s a great bloke and all that, but apart from an amateur club an allegedly some coaching badges, I don’t see any reason why he’s a COO material. He’s no more qualified than half of this board. Good luck to him if he gets the gig though.
