    No doubt if Stuart was appointed he would
    struggle again without a decent budget.
    It would be sad if he failed again, maybe
    he should retire or maybe come back
    as a commercial ambassador ?

    In December 2018 Villarreal were unexpectedly battling relegation so sacked Javi Calleja, about six weeks later they removed his successor and reappointed him. They then went on a good run of form and did even better the following season.

    I think Sparks knows about this, and that's why Sellars' and Trueman are continuing for now. Stuart asked to be judged in 18 months, this short break will do everyone good and he'll soon be back in his rightful position leading us to glory.

    There are only two managerial appointments I would never accept, regardless of on-pitch merit.

    One is Steve Evans, the other is Joey Barton.

    I don't care how successful you are in football, if you fail to live as a competent human being you can live your life out in the wilderness as far as I'm concerned.

    It never fails to amaze me how many crap clubs appoint idiots like these either as players or managers. Note: none of them ever threaten massive success, either.

    Morecambe did gave permission for us to approach Derek Adams apparently, but we were unable to tempt him. As suspected he was one of the currently contracted managers we were chasing

    If we can't tempt the manager from bloody Morecambe we are in trouble.

    People clearly see the the problems I see.

    However, on a positive its great that we are looking to go for managers at other clubs and willing to pay compo.
