    I dont beleve Stuart can turn this around. He is not the man for the job. Too paly with the players.
    You can not be mates with your employees. If you have to give them the hard word, how can you if you are too friendly with them and i am speaking from experience.

    Paudie at first win every header in the box, like Davo.

    Now he is asked to play out from the back and can't do it.

    But that doesn't matter.

    We will continue to ask him to play that way, blindly pushing on with a strategy that doesn't work.

    This squad is absolute dross. Its not like we have a squad of decent players who are underperforming. We have a squad of shite who are playing exactly how you'd expect them to.

    So in short, McCall can't turn around the fortunes of this shower and I'm not sure many others would be able to either. But, he's made a rod for his own back by stating he's happy with it.

    Pretty sure you can't compare manager of an English League team with team leader of Thornbury McDonalds. Appreciate the sentiment though.

    he is sounding like a man on the ropes, unable to see or think clearly. There are glaring gaps to fill. Who in their right mind makes a keeper skipper. We need two experienced lads in ASAP. You try swap Vaughan and Doyle for cheap replacements you reap what you sow, Rhodes take note you muppet, whilst trying to show a Rupp you are a poster boy CEO you are screwing this club over yet again. We will be ruined by the time you eventually do one

    He can’t turn it round unless he brings new blood into the squad. His post match interview today, talking about a missed penalty against Bolton being a turning point and the sending off.
    We don’t create, we haven’t scored in open play for ages, we start slow every single match. The players have either stopped taking instruction or don’t understand the message being given...

    Again, though, that changes absolutely nothing.

    Since McCall 'failed' last time, we have had Grayson, Collins, Hopkin, Drury, Bowyer, and McCall again.

    All left, and NOTHING. CHANGED.

    Did notice something odd. All of our players bar 3 players and stuarts contracts are up in '21. Tempted to think McCall wont get sacked by rhodes. Gives it to new CEO for a clean slate.

    He stays..... nothing changes. He's incapable of changing things. I haven't screamed for his head like some... I just can't see how or what he can do further here.

    I watched the Wales-Scotland 6 Nations match earlier and the difference in their game management was noticeably different to ours. The respective managers or the pitchside coaches weren't bellowing orders and waving their arms around continually. Instaead, the players were better organised and importantly better drilled to cope with different situations. They didn't need a coach shouting in their ears to organise them.

    OK, it's a different game and more technical and the players were all international standard. But the coaching/management appraoch was very different. It was clear more time had been spent of the training pitch and the players were better drilled. They knew what was expected of them in certain situations. I'm afraid that approach is anathema to SMc. He doesn't seem to be aware of modern coaching methods where preparation of the squad from a tactical perspective is probably more important than in-game coaching where a flurry of arm waving seems to be the norm in our club. To take one example, I'd hope that the tendency for the hoof ball would be coached out of them on the training pitch. I'd equally hope that coaching on the training pitch would include how the ball is carried by either the wingbacks or the central midfielders without SMc having to shout or wave his arms to get these players into more forward positions during the game. It's as though the training pitch is a means of improving the fitness of the squad and isn't being used to determine how the team should be playing on matchdays.

    Unfortunately, I'm far from convinced that SMc is capable of making that change in himself and will continue to wave his arms and bark his instructions fruitlessly during the game as he does now.

    Fair enough, but change is always for the worse if it isn't properly planned for, and that's something we've seen over and over.

    Relegation dog fight with a really poor squad and a non existent forward line. It’s going to get really bumpy. No fight no clue god help us ....... no money no fans or atmosphere I am losing the will to live or support this shower of spineless clowns. ...... from the chairman down I would like to add

    I wish all those who cheered when he was appointed had listened to me then because I was one of the few who said it was a bad appointment. He was and now is not the time to get rid because the next manager would be a rushed appointment.

    The biggest danger to the club by far is when the supporters stop caring about the club and lose interest, That is when the future of the club is in real risk, It seems that Rhodes and McCall are pushing supporters to that point, Am not sure they and the owner realise how close they are to losing its fan base.

    We should be looking and talking on the quiet to possible replacements before we sack him like most clubs do, They usually know the next manager before the old one goes, Mind you that is in well run clubs,,,,,,

    A little unfair blaming McCall for Doyle and Vaughan, Doyle had already gone and so had Vaughan apart from being on our books, he made it quite clear he wanted out and wouldn't try.
