Jordan Graham got released by Wolves. Harry Bunn is free, Nathan Thomas actually got released by Sheffield United too.

 

Well if he can't get and stay fit this coming season after the extended break he's had then he definitely never will.

 

Nathan Thomas would be a great signing but I think wages would rule that out

Could be a good signing for a league 2 club looking to push the boat out a bit before any potential salary cap comes into play. Don't think he would be on massive wages.

Carlisle wanted him after he did well there last season but could raise his wages I believe

 

He doesn't have a wage, and is a League Two calibre player.

If wages are a stumbling block, the lad might as well retire, let's be honest.

 

He's 26 though and hasn't managed it yet. If he was a young kid I might be more patient but he's quickly becoming a liability to have in the squad when the budget is so tight. Injuries are obviously inevitable but we need every senior player present and available for as much of the season as possible.

Well he is under contract so as I say if and I know it’s a big if we can get and keep him fit I think he could be a good player for us he has the ability

 

I've got high hopes for Darren Anderton this season.

 

I suppose it depends on what formation we play next season, if we need wingers or not. If, as mooted we're gonna play 433, then maybe we need an attacking full back, rather than a winger.

 

Don't see us playing 433 when we don't have enough CMs and 5 strikers on the books. Not a chance.

Few notts county fans on twitter saying we couldn't afford Roberts, but I've seen a few people claim he has a low release clause - know anything @tssb ?

 

He Left Blyth for no fee due to a rule of a 14 day notice. and i would imagine he has a similar clause in his contract for a club higher up the football pyramid

 

Some notts fans claiming they won't sell unless it's silly money are being a bit naive I think. Especially in this climate.

 

If nothing else the lad has a good agent, thinking of the future.

 

Think 50-100k and a sell on fee and a fee if we get promoted might do it. What they're quoting is ridiculous. No ones going to pay mega money for a national league player.
