That has surprised me a fair bit, but is generally nice to have players who love to play for bradford.

Good to see him extending his contract with us. A solid keeper at this level and he genuinely seems to enjoy playing for us. Well done to him for accepting reduced terms

One of the best at this level coupled with a real hunger to play for the club. Need more signings of this ilk.

 

The poor lads had to have chicken instead of steak throughout furlough.

Nothing to suggest he isn't here still purely cos we offered the most money. He turned down other offers, yes. But they might have been for less money. I'd suggest so as otherwise it would've made that abundantly clear in that quote

 

People will find a negative in anything the club says....

 

It's taking shape because we re-signed the keeper we had last term?

We're still missing a whole central midfield, probably a specialist right back and a left winger. And that's just to field a balanced 11 in a 4 4 2. The lack of quality is vast and we're about as far away from 'taking shape' as it gets.

 

Do not worry there will be plenty of over 30 plus injury prone players for us to recruit to give us chance to blood some youngsters. Where in the league we will end who knows at this moment.

 

But we're less far away then we were 3 weeks ago

The "accepted a deal on reduced terms" caught my eye as even the minimum wage goes up every year.
Then i think back and the original contract would have been when City were in L1 and a certain edin was splashing the cash.
He would have been on a very nice contract.

 

Yeah that is a good point, at least hes not like other players we've had that just follow the money! *cough* Doyle *cough*

 

Alternatively the other offers were less than the reduced terms we offered

 

He was holding out for a better offer that never came , lets not make out he is a super loyal player , that if you cut him he would bleed claret and amber .
