    As far as I can see there's no salary cap enforced currently (but correct me if I've missed it), so surely it's business as usual.
    Retrospective sanctions would be ludicrous and wouldn't stand up in any court.
    I live on a road which had a 30 mph speed limit and two speed cameras. In March as part of "traffic calming" the limit was reduced to 20 mph, can I expect tickets for the several thousand times I've driven at over 20 in the past?

    I'd like to see us go for someone like harry Pell at colchester, 6 ft 4 dominant centre mid. Its exactly what we need if were wanting to be able to play a number 10 like billy clarke

    Correct me if I am wrong but haven’t we signed about four players people like Clarke and O’Donnell won’t be on salary cap wages Grimsby couldn’t meet his salary neither will most of this league

    We have two right wingers and Gillead is under contract and did well at Scunthorpe so unless we are paying for him it won’t happen

    We are missing the boat again
    As has been mentioned on here before we are hiding behind the salary cap as an excuse for being negative a good excuse for being beaten by the likes of Salford Mansfield et al
    We really are ambitionless and deserve to be where we are
    Smart clubs see it as an opportunity (the best chance to get out of this league) we are using it as an excuse for mid to lower table mediocrity

    If the season had come to conclusion Salford would have finished above us. And who could ever forget that 3-0 defeat at Mansfield, which in truth should have been seven or eight.
