Completely agree, i’m lucky i live on the outskirts. The inner city has no discerning feature or reason for being other than the lowest of low cost housing.

 

same situation in Bingley. Money will have gone towards pet projects in BD1, BD3 & BD8

 

There was an article about 2 month ago on a similar subject. T&A celebrating the dangerous driving behavior. I tweeted Operation Steerside about it with a paragraph of the highway code stating something along the lines of, "anything that could cause an obstruction to the road to make it unsafe for pedestrians and drivers as an illegal offence." amazingly got no reply and no action taken. Lawless Bradford strikes again.

 

Anyone walk up Manningham Lane to or from the match on Saturday? There were boxes of discarded fireworks everywhere just dumped at the side of the road and on the pavement. I take it Bradford Council have stopped issuing fines for littering?

 

There is now parking for blue badges beside the ground on thorncliffe.on matchdays. And the road markings and signs are very clear

 

If Ilkley has no money spent on it are the packs of traffic wardens there voluntarily?

 

Friday morning a Ferrari was parked outside Next.
Plenty of parking spots, but this was in a Wheelchair only spot.
It must be a squeeze getting wheelchair in & out of this car.

 

Could stand on Carlisle Rd and wipe out all Bradford council debt by dinner time.

 

Or Toller Lane, i drive up it pretty much every day, might as well turn into a car park because the locals just use it as one.

It's a shame that the image used to denote disability incorporates a wheelchair because people often assume that all disabled people have wheelchairs or, the very least, the spaces are only for wheelchair users. Not all disabilities are visible. People who need easier access to places and have managed to 'pass' the shameful tests that the current government have employed to grant such permits are permitted to drive whatever car they can afford.

The wardens are sent to Ilkley by Bradford council to maximise revenues for Bradford council.

It's clear to me the council tried it on this Saturday, due to the uproar they have had to back down, if a large amount of noise hadn't have been made these tickets would still stand. Well done to all those who were vocal to get these overturned.
