New off field appointment

Honestly I tip my hat to Rupp. He's done exactly what he said he was going to do. Maybe took a bit longer than we all wanted but we all knew it was a hard task. Well done Rupp.

 

Dave Garth has real pedigree. Good luck to him. I think there's huge potential for untapped revenue across our fanbase.

Hopefully some sort of fan zone is on the cards. I'd be willing to spend money on a regular basis for the right sort of supporter experience inside or just outside the ground.

 

Garth is a great asset, Sparks was edins man, scripted edin to make him look “good” not for me

 

I wondered how long he could stay away from football lol. Good lad is Dave, knows football commerce inside out. Give him the tools to work with and i guarantee you will notice the difference.

 

Sparks inherited a PR mess and deserves promotion for turning it around. Garth is the real deal. Hats off to BCFC. HE won't have come on board for peanuts either. Wonder if its out of player budget or separate?

 

Since Rahic left and in particular since the end of last season the PR and marketing has definately gone up a gear.

Completely agree. The PR this summer has been spot on. The way deals have been broke, the kit vid, spacing out the sponsorship deal announcements so there’s a good news story every few days.

Very professional and it’s gone a long way toward building bridges between the club and fans.

He didnt, the fact he wanted to is hard to believe!

 

It's easy to think that anything would have been better than the toxins spewing forth from the club for the past 24 months, but that would be unfair - the output has been spot on for me, and deserves real credit.

Really believe Bowyer buys into the importance of connecting the players with the fans, something Stuart himself never actually got right, and Edin certainly had no clue about.

Going into the new season, the club is at least in a sensible position off field. Now it's all about what happens on field - exactly as it should be.

 

Unless he is moonlighting as our new left winger I'm guessing separate.

 

we all have to do things we aren't proud of for money at some point, although I'd draw the line at making edin look good myself!

 

Great appointment loads of experiance at the very top level, Bradford lad delighted with this appointment.
I feel after a lot of mismanagement/bitterness the club is now going in the right direction, very positive for the coming season.

 

That would be a mammoth task .
