Did they give out today's attendance ?.

 

I thought he played well, like you say short of match fitness. Did a lot of back covering for players, and he was nearly always first for the second ball and scraps. Good team player, I think he will just get better.

 

According to Simon Parker the attendance was 15,890 @Bronco

 

Rochdale away by a country mile for me @stubgate13 , not that I'm complaining .

Not the best atmosphere I've ever been in at Valley Parade but getting back to something like, great effort by the "K"block lads and everyone else who joined in.

 

I was happy to get to half time at 0-0.

Then second half the whole team seemed to start to show more confidence and belief in themselves. I think that dodgy referring spell where he gave 4 or 5 free kicks on the trot spurred the players on.

Lots of talking across the pitch and Butterfield was immense 2nd half especially.

We have some way to go but the green shoots of recovery are there to see.

 

Ta Onside - so pleased for all the fans today and good to listen to Bowyer afterwards, there is passion but it is also grounded if you know what I mean.

 

Have to take your word on that one didn't go to Rochdale this season best I've seen though thourouhly enjoyed that today!

Just pulling your leg mate, but I did post that it had been a long time since I saw a team dominated for 90+ minutes by Bradford City .
Yes I also enjoyed it today, hopefully we can say the same again after the Luton game,

 

I have been rightly critical of the signing of Jacob Butterfield but today he was different class the best performance from a city player this season

 

Fantastic performance today but one thing I think we could improve on. When we get to the line, sometimes inside the area even, we nearly always try to float in high balls. Seeing as our forwards are always dominated in the air let's hit some more balls in low and hard

 

So when you get into the box you like to ram the balls in low and hard? Respect.

 

I know it's only one game and I shouldn't get carried away but I'm at risk of it tonight.

Maybe it's the new manager combined with a good performance and result, but I don't feel like we are a lost cause again. Hopefully that's how the team is feeling too.

Obviously we have Luton coming up and we may well take a step back but with the fixtures we have left I really do feel optimistic again.

Saturday night hasn't felt like this in a long time.

I feel the same. Before Hopkin left, I didn't expect us to get anything from Portsmouth, today or Luton so we are already 3 points better off than I thought we would be even before we've played Luton, so if we get anything from that game it will be a massive bonus in my opinion.

 

Not always. Sometimes I find pulling it back to the edge of the box can be equally effective

 

I think the way Peterborough play helps us they wanted the
Points for their play off push do the game was open giving our flair players like Butterfield room to play. We played very well but there will be different tests to come
