Yer, looked in a brilliant position for him.

 

Enjoyed that.

Great 2nd half performance against a team that played some very good one touch football at speed at times.

We dug in in the first half with some fantastic defending, especially Pennington who I thought had his best game in a City shirt.

I like the look of Phillips and will be a good asset for us this season.

Hopefully enough left in the tank for the tough visit to Plymouth.

Hope Baldwin's injury isnt too bad and will be back soon.

McCracken after their first pen ran over to their keepers water bottle and lobbed it into the crowd

 

I can't complain on what I've seen tonight, Burnley had quality outside the box, they looked very dodgy at the back especially playing it out from the keeper, we never stopped grafting this bunch remind me very much of Parky's teams.
Great atmosphere another clean sheet after 90 minutes and some very good penalties shame the draw has us away to Orient, but its very winable.

 

Remember " It's only a cup........"

Haven't been able to get to a game yet for medical reasons and will also miss the Cambridge game. I'm wondering if I should stay away for the season. On a serious note, winning does become a habit so hopefully my absence is not the reason.

 

I am sure GA has said they have to manage Baldwins fitness,so they may just have been keeping him fit for Plymouth.
