Thought we were really good this eve. Gulf in quality was clear at times in the first half but in the second half thought we turned the ball over well and looked threatening on a number of occasions.

Back 3 were fantastic. Pennington especially, but really liking Gillesphey so far and Welch was impressive for his first game. McCracken also started really well so far.

Good to get some minutes in some of squad and see others in alternative positions who were able to hold their own. Lapslie and Cartwright struggled a little, but in no way let themselves down.

I’ve knocked Swan at times, his end product needs to be better and at times tonight should have been, but thought he did a great job tonight. Relentless, threatening and kept Burnley thinking.

Like the look of Phillips - excited to see more from him in the coming weeks.
