We've done okay after the first 15 minutes.

Crying out for a Jensen Metcalfe type player in midfield.

 

Great advert for league one football. Both sets of players enjoying playing on a perfect surface.

 

We need to change something second half. We’ve been really poor in all aspects

 

Overall an OK first half.. but it's clear we need a dynamic midfielders next to Connolly.

Jackson has probably been the best / most involved out of the front 3, we are struggling to get the others on the ball a little too much.

 

We need a midfielder who is quick and decisive with the ball. Connolly can get away with it as hes playing as a 6, and his focus is on retaining possession, but Sarc needs to step up and take control of the game. Too slow on the ball and we aint getting it forward quick enough

 

0-0 and quitened the crowd 2 postives for me.My fear of Sarc in MF goes on.

 

I think that first half is simply down to the occasion and Bannon running the show a bit. But tbh, we’ve looked comfortable (aside from the first five minutes maybe) and more likely to score. Their manager won’t last long if he’s going to stick with strikers out wide. What a waste of young talent

 

Pointon and Jackson need to get closer to Beasley to make this system work. A decent half considering we were getting battered in the first 10 mins. Weve gotten a foot hole in the game but we dont look like scoring

 

Outclassed first 15 minutes, fortunately we didnt concede.

Since then I think we have settled really well without really threatening.

As expected Bannon class at this level and streets ahead of anyone else on the pitch.

I will be really happy if second half same again scoreline wise and take a point.

GA must be having serious second thoughts about thinking we have enough in midfield though, especially against the better teams.
