I know I commented on this earlier in the thread. I do agree it was an absolutely brilliant piece of skill, but he ran straight into their player and lost the ball. We were lucky it ran to our player. Now having said that I do want our more skillful players to keep trying stuff in and around the oppositions box so I'll let him off . Thing is, if he hadn't been tackled and found himself in space would he have taken the shot on off his right foot? I know I'm just being picky now!

Fans were saying Peterborough wasn’t a good test for City as they looked a poor side,however they’ve won all there other games they’ve played and are currently 5-0 up at Watford.

 

No real assessments can be made on the basis of the first game of the season. They werent great but clearly have something more than what they showed that day. Personally I think they will be mid table.
