Because there's no width on the left. He doesn't take on the right back or try to go beyond him. He wants to go into the centre all the time.

All that is unsurprising. He isn’t a left sided forward. He needs to play centrally.

 

City need to calm down here and control the game.

Much better Will yes, you could learn a lot from his movement and touch. If your first touch wasn’t like a pass it would help.

 

Decent performance all round, Posh were much better than the last game against them but we still got the goals and a clean sheet. Impressed by all the new signings.
Beesley will get a lot of goals this season once he bags his first one.
We have carried on where we left off last season by getting lots of balls into the box and I feel that we have the players now to start to capitalise on that pressure.
Bring on the Wednesday on Thursday.

Very solid opening day win, apart from a long range shot and couple of other little bits there was nothing to worry about defensively and lots of chances going forward.

Only negative was Jackson, whatever he thought about the yellow card his behaviour after it going into half time then the challenge was unacceptable and he let everyone down. I wouldn't be surprised if he is dropped on Thursday as Alexander will not accept an attitude like that.

 

Professional performance, nice easy run out. No thrills or spills just a nice day out. Fear for Posh, they looked rough.
