    Cringed when I heard him described as a veteran in the paper.
    Remember the wettest game ever at Brighton, when I think he made his debut (may be wrong).
    Doesn't seem anytime since.
    P.S. did I say it was the wettest game ever.

    Know just what you mean.

    I felt the same about Stephen Warnock. I remember him making his debut, and then next thing you know he's back with us on loan and retiring.

    and imagine a club appointing someone line a Sporting Director, Liverpool, before the new manager is appointed. Just shows the club have a vision and the new manager will have to fit into that vision

    Simon Francis has joined Al Hilal and is leading the club’s transfer activity.
    I anticipate that the salary and tax system will make it a very lucrative option.
