EFL Fixtures 2026/27

Greedy owners of that can't keep their noses clean.

It's greed plane and simple. And 2 fingers up to the fans who can't go on a Thursday or Friday and was planning to go Saturday...

Apparently football is a family... Unless it's about money.

Clubs needs it's fans... But again apparently not. To much of an inconvenience.

 

I've had 14 years of fixtures and ko times moved, and it's a pain I agree. This coming season I was looking forward to 3 pm Saturdays at last. First game, Burnley away 4pm Sunday !

 

Depends if we get the whole end which does push it to 3.7k................

 

Until Sky or co go under then sadly its the norm how many other local games are they gonna fook us up on ?????

 

I would expect lots of West Ham games to be picked especially if you're near the top 2 going into February when the selections get picked on a weekly basis 4 weeks in advance. A lot of midweek games in the Championship as well, far more than the 3 or 4 you get in the Premier League.

 

The Sheffield game was always going to be moved, it's their first home game with 25k season tickets sold and a big travelling support from us. I was just hoping they might have moved it to 12.30 kick off rather than Thursday.

 

The upside is no VAR

If Sky go under English football is in huge trouble overnight. Ultimately football, especially in this country, has gone way past the point of no return with broadcasters overnight.

Whilst this deal isn't great I'm very glad the EFL put this one to the clubs and not the DAZN offer as that would have meant every game being broadcast and it would mean a lot more games being moved and days like the National League have over Easter where games end up being split over the weekend.

 

I managed 50 seasons of crap refs, it apparently "evens out" ............... not.
