    I think the issue is the same as the Mbappe one earlier in the World Cup in that you can say he initiated the contact. He just needs to keep his natural stride more and he gets the pen any day.

    Madueke is doing my nut. He is so lazy defensively. Watch the goal and he is just watches their scorer run off him and it happened multiple other times too. You can't just watch the player on your side run off you when the balls on the other side of the pitch as you know your FB has been or will be dragged inside

    Is just dont see what everyone else sees in Anderson i think? He just looks like a good PL player, I don't see this world beating midfielder. 116m midfielder. It's like this generations Tom Cleverly

    It's the crazy squad selection especially in defence. Half the squad has either spent the season with injury issues or had missed most of the last 8-15 league games injured so weren't match fit. Or you have the likes of Madueke and Eze who despite players in their positions being injured were still often getting less than 45mins a game. Defensively as well there is a real lack of tournament experience outside of Stones who is far from match fit due to his injuries.

    There were players who were either in better form, better fitness and better experienced (usually a combination of multiple of those) who he left home

    On todays money he absolutely is worth that but I don't feel this England setup suits him tbh. him, Rice and Bellingham reminds me a little of the Scholes/Lampard/Gerrard problem in that on paper it looks amazing but they don't complement each other, infact they hinder each other. I think you need either Rice or Anderson not both and then pair them with a one who offers something a bit different (In this squad that would be Mainoo as the only other option is really Henderson unless we play Bellingham deeper and play Rodgers or play a second striker seeing as Kane drops deep)
