Curtis Tilt

Tilt is certainly upgradable and I wouldn't have wanted him starting next season. That said, I would've kept him as part of the squad as I'm not too keen on a total rebuild of the squad.

 

I enjoyed watching Tilt but he tailed off after his injury

 

Is it a fake ?.

 

I never said he was a bad signing, I actually said quite the opposite. His ability is L2 at best. If they plan to play nononse defending and hoofing the ball up, then he's a good signing for them

 

I got the impression after the Bolton play off games Tilt and Alexander didn't see eye to eye

 

Don't think any one predicted him to leave quite a shock.

 

That's fair comment, but he was pretty consistent up until his injury, I can certainty remember him getting at least one MOTM awards, good luck to him just what we needed at the back, and we got money for him some decent negotiations going on at the moment at Valley Parade.

 

Best of luck to Tilt, his form collapsed towards the end of the season, but he may be able to refind it. I always found it a bit unusual how he'd never celebrate a goal and would just walk off alone, only a small thing, but it didn't look great for team spirit. Anyway, I wouldn't have been against him staying as backup, but we can certainly upgrade on him.

 

Could this be a make weight in Webster coming the other way ?.

Tilt coming in for some unfair stick. Everyone wrote him off last summer, and he came in and was an ever present in the team that finished 4th. Bodied strikers and wingers on a weekly basis.

That being said, I cant recall a player who looked more unorthodox in controlling and dribbling with a ball. We got a fee and it means now that we have a clear slot that needs filling at LCB. Best of luck to him

He nearly gave a goal away in the first leg and looked way off it and was hooked off at HT in the 2nd leg after a poor showing first half. That's just my thinking why he has been sold.

 

Yes that's not in doubt, and footballing decisions need to be made. But you suggested they didn't see eye to eye which is a bit different!

 

Did the job required of him but like most players we had requires an upgrade. Good luck to the lad at Burton, every team needs a no nonsense defender.

 

Tilt isn't one to hold back and neither is Alexander so after what happened at the end of those games it wouldn't have surprised me if they had a discussion nothing nasty but more of case Alexander felt tilts time had come to an end hence why we are looking to improve that area
