I'm along those lines Kev. Lad is a fantastic athlete, for me he's better further up the field as he can cover ground quickly. Similar to the role Casey Palmer has played to great effect.

Two have signed Tues, as mentioned. Can only assume they’re delaying the announcement in unison with other news.

Possibly kit related or the significant sponsorship deal with Mbanq!

Mbanq already announced, unless there’s an expansion of the deal?

 

They always implied there was going to be multiple avenues with MBanq, so this wouldn’t surprise me

Seemed strange that we loaned him rather than a straight sale.

 

I asked the same ish question. we have reduced flip flops wage bill by loaning him out.. saves Brizzle a fee

 

If nobody wants to buy a player under a contract then a loan is quite normal . At least they will be paying part or all of his wages until he does go on a free in 2027.

 

I assume there is some inner group, outside of club employees, who find out before everyone else. When a new player is announced he always already has his individual sponsor. @Chrisako who have we signed?

They've thanked them both for their services in a city shirt and wished them well. What more do you want them to say?
Also, it's not worrying at all. The window only officially opened 4 days ago. The club can announce signings when they want to and when they see fit. Just because someone supposedly ITK says something is going to happen doesn't mean it will. It took a whole year for their previous 'news' to see the light of day after all.

 

Well based on the one a couple of years ago, I’d give until June 2027 before giving him grief

 

To be fair to May, he had a traumatic time with his deranged brother who had threatened to kill and rape his siblings and mother. I think it was last month that his brother was jailed.

May, with the right service, should score plenty at this level, if he has now managed to put the family issue to bed now and settled down.
