    Not breakfasting for another hour or so

    It was started by joe Brett on the old claret and banter site I’m sure it was around 2006. Wonder where he is these days. He served me in Yorkshire bank once lol

    never been much of a drinker and could never handle more than a pint of beer, vodka over crushed ice, dark rum and coke, gin and tonic one or two max. Stopped alcohol completely in '98. not a drop since (mrs IB however ............).
    The wine was local and in those days 3 francs (30p) a glass not really the "Good stuff", water from the spring, no ice. The other three being drinkers I was always designated driver. :)

    The older I've got, the less alcohol tolerant I've become. Used to enjoy a couple of pints in a pub, but never been a shorts drinker. Now maybe have a bottle of Bud occasionally. Have no problem with being the designated driver. Try and avoid Polish weddings where the alcohol, particularly vodka, flows freely!
