Neighbour walked dig for hour and half this morning.
After drying her down at 9am she hasn’t come out of the bedroom. Think she’s traumatised.

 

The water bowl that I leave out for hedgehogs etc is now full, probably 8cm deep.

5.5 hours of rain. Some evidence of saturation on grassy areas.

 

Best hang up a miniature lifebuoy by the bowl (a non inflatable one,obvs)

I’m really enjoying my retirement plan of sitting in my garden,enjoying the sun and doing absolutely nothing.

 

That's ok, you don't enjoy being (working) outdoors anyway

 

Also, it hadn't actually occurred to me until you mentioned it that the summer wash out so far is entirely your fault! You needed to keep working!!
