Pitch

I would be very surprised if we are not basic level of renovation which I think is an EFL requirement. If it is then we'll be koroing the pitch (taking the top layer off), adding the sand to the pitch and verti draining it then overseeding the pitch.

Without doing that we will be in trouble as it's been mentioned in the past the pitch gets a lot of algae especially by the TL Dallas stand

 

When have we ever NOT done some work on the pitch in pre-season, is the question.

Tbh it looked like it was gonna be properly battered to bits from Jan onwards but the Bolton play off game it looked in a decent state compared to what it has been ..............maybe they dont feel it needs major work ????.

 

Usually done in late May early June,but our play off involvement will probably have delayed it a couple of weeks. We used to bodge it a lot in the Rhodes Lawn era.

Confirmation that we are doing the same to the pitch that we did last year.
Mick Doyle mentions in the video that the pitch was the driest it has been in a long time so the drainage was working well.
