    He talks utter bollocks constantly on twitter. Surely arent paying anybody anywhere near that? Maybe 5k or 6k at very tops?

    There's already a Max Power Wigan video on You Tube. It seems as if Caldwell's return from Exeter was one of the reasons for his move.
    In his interview he does acknowledge Graham Alexander.

    If Lawn and Rhodes were paying Davo 5k or 6k in L2 in the Parky days, I could very easily believe Power was on 8k to be honest.

    I can't imagine that MP will rubbish our management or us as a club even though he might not care for the training facilities. Nor will we rubbish him.

    IMO Metcalfe should be attacking mid certainly has an eye for goal,could see him scoring 8 to 10 from that position.

    A fair point and appreciate it was over a decade ago too. But he was an elite L2 signing from the PL. Cant imagine anybody else at City was on close to his salary.

    Id have said Power around £6k tops. If im wrong then we have just knocked almost half a million off the wage bill. There are better investments out there

    I remember Lawn saying once very pissed on north parade in the bigger middle of the street pub maybe 2018/19ish that nobody in the 2013 L2 promotion side was on more than 2.5k a week......... so somethings off

    I think given the circumstances, improving isn't the expectation. Unlike Smallwood, we haven't really chosen to let him go, in which case i would expect a clear upgrade.

    The situation is beyond our control at a certain point, so an equal is a must, an improvement a bonus.

    He hasn't mentioned the training facilities other that how long it takes to travel there. Apart from match days Apperly Bridge was his place of work.

    Not sure myself, but it was mentioned in a reply to one of tweets on the matter that Power only joined the Danish side as he was unable/unwilling to resign to an english team for tax purposes due to his short spell in dubai
