Radio Leeds, Bradford City podcast.

Each to their own. I think WOAP is terrific. I really enjoy the level of analysis they give. I’m always amazed at how much detail they pick up and remember. They give insights that I often don’t pick up on during the match. I think we’re very lucky to have this forum, which I consider to be amongst the best in the EFL, and WOAP.

 

I really like it tbh. Special guests too.

 

Not knocking it , depends on my mood at the time I suppose more than its quality? I think the point is rather, it’s never light hearted . Sometimes we like a laugh .

 

Not knocking the people that contribute or the people that like their content, I prefer a more comedic and light hearted approach, even though it's Leeds the square ball is a very good podcast.

 

I did notice that Jamie Raynor said at the end of the podcast that they are hoping to give Bradford City coverage as and when we can. The club only signed a one year deal with Radio Leeds and I wonder if there’s some doubt from City about renewal. I hope we carry on with Radio Leeds as they provide superb coverage. I always remember ex CEO David Baldwin once telling me he would like to scrap local radio coverage and make supporters buy the club i follow coverage which they would do in house. Leeds Utd once tried that under Ken Bates leadership and the Leeds fans I worked with said it was appalling and amateurish. They quickly went back to Radio Leeds coverage.

Good podcast that's got better as it's gone along, Mark Bower gives some excellent balance and professional insight.

The only slight annoyance is that Hudson still talks absolute drivel and his football knowledge is incredibly poor for someone who supposedly watches the game.

Hudson not only doesn't know the basics of football, he's seemingly not even interested in them.

I find Bower to be boring and monotone, but this adds to the mix and they all contribute to a great podcast.

 

Why are you acting like it's some kind of shock that a sports journalist knew something before we did?

Can’t agree , tbh. His professionalism, as opposed to a fan, shines through . Those that know what they are talking about sometimes give that air , which as you rightly say gives a brilliant balance .

 

Give me him or Morais over Kiwomya or Jones any day of the week. Jones knows his stuff but I just don't enjoy listening to a scouse accent.

 

I pay a tenner a year and see no adverts. Well worth it to support the forum.

I like Morais too but don't really care for Jones. Especially when we aren't playing well and he whines on about how good we were back in his day
