Pretty much all results went against us.
2 points for 2 games or a single win does it for us now. We can't be relying on tesms below to mess us. Our goal difference is so bad that Plymouth can still overtake us.

Stockport and Stevenage kick off before us on Saturday, meaning we could actuslly be 6th by kick off of the Bolton game.

 

Apart from Stockport losing and Plymouth drawing. Stevenage and Luton won. 50% isnt a bad result.

 

I would fancy Luton to get a win at Bolton last game of the season. We need to get a win on Saturday.

 

Hopefully this finally nails the idea that teams “with nothing to play for” give opponents 3 points ?

 

Not league one (yet) but how many of these Leicester players do you think will be in league one next season? The wages make your eyes water!

 

Horrific wages to try and sustain in the Championship, nevermind league 1. Another Sheff Wed situation coming I reckon.

 

And some believe it's only us who fluff our lines, we'll see some more home bankers getting beat by a side lower in the league in the next couple of weeks.

 

Luckily for Leicester most of them are out of contract. I do worry for the financial future of the club, they have been taking out a lot of loans against future income and although they will get a £10m parachute payment it is guaranteed against loans. This could only be the start of their problems with players on big wages that they can't move on. They also have to follow the salary cap for league 1 which will be very tough at 60% when income in all areas will collapse.

Grant McCann has confirmed he plans on playing some of the youth and fringe players in the final two games and wont be using first teamers who wont be there next season, as well as giving Billy Sharp a game in his final home match this weekend.... doesnt sound like a good recipe for doing us a favour against Stevenage on Saturday, unless their youth team are ready to impress!

Wow what fantastic training facilities yet even with top facilities Leicester find themselves in League One next season, Rawdon Meadows doesn't look too bad after reading that link .

 

needs to be careful saying he is going to play weakened teams. The league could end up looking into them for breaching rules. Normally mangers just do it and blame injuries or niggles

 

I really dislike the man tbh.

 

A manager will always say he has a squad for a reason but yes can be seen that way. I suppose a lot of the mid table sides end up playing a few youth players for a game or two at the end of the season if they have little to play for. Music to Steveange fans ears really

At the end of the day @Kevin1954 our destiny is our own hands, but I agree not a likeable manager.

 

Plymouth finish on 73pts and like you say, Luton can finish on 74pts. GD better than are our lot so we need at least 2pts.

 

Tolajs head might be turned? He posted on his Instagram a photo with his stats for the season and rumoured links sides for the summer window.

 

Even though Tilt had him in his pocket, he looks a very, very good striker. His record speaks for itself at Port Vale and now Argyle. Wish we had somebody of his calibre.
