Performance ok, result not good enough tonight.

 

We've been really strange lately, we're dominating possession which wasn't something we ever did early on in the season but at the same time never really looking likely to do much with it.

And despite having about 50 strikers, I still think we need a striker who can actually score goals.

What doesn’t allow you anything other than being negative.. He’s been pretty outstanding all season and quite an astute signing . Name me a player in L1 that doesn’t make a mistake or have an off game … I’ll wait .

Once again rather than go out and invest in someone proven we throw shit at the wall and hope something sticks. We have added shite to bang average.

Mullin and Wheatley have 7 goals between them. If they are the answer, what the feck is the question.

Dont forget last season our main man got injured and we replaced him with Mellon....

 

Hard to win games when you play half the game with such a poor forward in Wheatley up front. Giving the advantage to the opposition. Hopefully the experiment with him is over before it costs us play off place

 

Point may be vital as we found out last season. Mansfield are tough opponents. We are looking tired might need a change or two Saturday

 

Neufville is useless but we stick with him. Pointon does a few flicks every other game, Wheatley is no better than Joe Brown, Swan might as well sit in the stands yet Humphyrs and Mullin sit on the bench.

Honestly, I’m starting to think GA will get done for betting offences in the future. He makes the most bizarre choices. T Wright on the right worked out for the goal but aside from that, he was too uncomfortable using his right foot. Anybody watching the game could see it but we didn’t change it

 

We were the better team, didn’t do enough but they did get an absolute fluke. Took a worldie to get something though which is a worry. We are so wasteful in the final third with our final ball.

 

Neufville is useless? What a bizarre comment,who on earth should replace him? He’s had a great season.

Not too bad with regards other results, we need to get back to winning ways, although Burton lost tonight their stats were very good Reading keeper making 3 great saves apparently.

 

Vital that we didn't lose tonight, shame we didn't win. The performance was alright and we are not really much better or worse off than we were at 7pm. My worry is our inevitable loss at Burton this weekend.

I actually thought our final ball was decent tonight. Can't fault Sarc's blocked effort. Just good defending, touch off Penington could've gone anywhere and Bobby should've scored. On another night they go in and everyone's saying it was a great performance.

great performance watched the whole game it was just OK nothing more.

 

First 45 minutes back to being absolute turd. Better second half against a very limited side, a draw a fair result as we didn't display enough quality to deserve the win. The Wheatley experiment looks to have run it's course, lad looked clueless tonight, to be fair to him he doesn't seem to favour the lone striker role, looks more at home running from deep, time for Swan or Mullin to get that role.

 

I thought we had patches of poor play and then good play. We are inconsistent and you never know which City team will turn up. Mansfield were awful and I just couldn’t watch them every week. I am glad we managed a draw though, it would have been an insult to football for them to snatch all three.

 

OK mate, you are entitled to your opinion.
My opinion is that Swan didn't do any better than Wheatley.

 

Credit to Mansfield's defence tonight. They were very organised and disciplined. We can be frustrated about not creating more, but they got some decent blocks in and only gave us one clear sight of goal.

But, the overriding feeling is that we lack a bit of guile up front.
