Its highly plausible. I hope people remember that getting into the play offs would be a monumental achievement.

It doesn't matter how many players you have in midfield if 3 defenders can't cut out a straightforward cross and switch off at throw ins.

It will only take 2 consecutive home defeats before he starts "tinkering" with that too

In addition I'd do as others have suggested and start with our strongest available team and sub off any struggling with fatigue as the game goes on.

Didn’t we concede at the dogs when we switched off on a quickly taken throw in. Maybe more throughout the season but none come to mind.

I mean there are pages upon pages of how he can fix our problem but can anyone really beat just simply play your strongest side ?????

Like Lincoln who recently picked the same side for six consecutive matches. Won 4 drew 2.

We all agree but conceding 3 sunday league goals in one game makes us all rage.

I agree, we might get away with it at Valley Parade but it puts a lot of pressure on them away from home, something has got to change we can't rely on us continuing to get 3 points from every home game.

Surely playing your best team away from home is a given, and a couple of bench warmers at home, they have the 12th man - The Crowd to pull them through ,but you've got to play your strongest team at away games

If we have 2 consecutive home defeats I don't think it would be unreasonable for him to make changes (and there would be plenty of voices on here calling for him to do just that). That would be a very different scenario to changing a winning team, which he did on Saturday for no other reason than squad rotation.

We all accept that unfortunatly Alexander prefers to rest players, and in Saturday's situation those three players were very much a part of our winning formation.

And you think our home form would continue if we adopted that policy?

Agree but unfortunately half of every clubs fixtures and points available are away from home the top 2 where I presume you would like us to be have pretty good home and away from and haven't forsaken the chance to pick up away points to protect their home record
A settled side carries forward confidence, momentum, understanding etc into the following game be it home or away winning becomes a habit
With the exception of Sarce who GA correctly manages most of our players should be able to maintain fitness playing Tuesday/Saturday without wholesale changes in the guise of squad rotation
Let's hope GA has/is reviewing his policies on our away starting 11 after all we were already starting at Wimbledon without our Captain and essential part of our midfield
