Not surprised as that’s football, I’ve nothing against the guy but the way he left tarnished the season prior so it was a neutral response from me.

But before we do that the manager has to acknowledge that we have a midfield problem and he becomes defensive as soon as it's mentioned. But at least today he finally admitted that if the players aren't happy with the system he might change it for away games. Which suggests that's already been said. I'd say for home games as well but we might possibly be seeing the first shoots of a change of approach which is long overdue.

Power and Baldwin had words after Luton's first goal which went on for a while, according to Radio Leeds Alexander also got involved, Tilt had to get amongst them telling Power and Baldwin to chill out.

Hadnt realised Kasey Palmer had gone there on loan. He was head and shoulders above anybody else, a class act at this level

Metcalfe will suffer from burn out if this continues, the ground he has to cover is unreal.Another body in midfield, say Evans, would give Metcalfe more chance to influence games, instead of having to do all the donkey work.

Well, I was one of a handful of City fans who gave him applause.

I remember what he did for us more than the way he left.

We could have a back five as now, Power, Metcalfe and Evans to start away, with Sarcevic or Pointon to offer more creativity there if needed, with two from Humphrys, Swan, Mullin, Jackson and Wheatley up front. At home we could use the Pointon/Sarcevic option more readily. At least that makes it harder for us to be overrun in midfield and offers much more attacking threat. We might even start to play some constructive football instead of endless hoofing to a non-target man on his own. I don't know about anyone else but I've simply been bored watching us for the last few months. There's been so little in games to get excited about.

Halliday playing superb for Dundee at Celtic. Miss him defensively. Yes Neufville is better going forward but Halliday the better defender.

Neufville was awful in defence today and not much better going forward but we can't keep bemoaning whatifs over Halliday. He's gone.. done.

Not sure on my general take on today, but it’s predominantly frustration. I didn’t think Luton were all that, just the clear gulf in class of 2-3 of their squad shone through. Aside of that I think it was evenly matched.

We started really well but first half petered out. The goal was a sucker punch. Think we were much better second half but just needed a bit more all over the pitch.

Midfield was a clear challenge which as others have said, we might need to address for some away games. Overall I maintain the squad looks stronger and genuinely believe if we score first today, we would have gone on to win. That’s what we did earlier in the season and what we’ve lost in last 1-2 months. Get that edge back right from the start and think we match much of the this league.

Remember this was the first time since he left in 2014 that he has played against City so I wasn’t surprised at all !!! I wonder if Bobby got his shirt after the match !
