He was sent back a while ago, he picked up an injury in Dec and they decided he's best rehabing at Stoke. He's still injured now, on Wycombes signing post the say Lowe will still be at Stoke for a short period fot rehabing the injury before joining up with Wycombe.

In other clubs transfer news, I see PV have signed defender Tyler Magloire, free agent we had on trial over the summer.

 

i would imagine kavanagh will be on his way after yesterdays signings .

Reports are that he will be signing for Oldham on a permanent deal.

Oldham fans seem happy with this, and why not, he did well for us in league 2 and certainly played his part in promotion.

Some of their fans wouldnt mind Lapslie and Leigh too.

Yep, makes sense as he was released by Northampton at the end of last season, new Vale manager Jon Brady knows him from when he was at Northampton.

There was a twitter rumour on their fanbase this week that everyone in the squad is open for business, reckon that's why they are moving Cole on now too. Easier to start again in L2 if you have just received a good wedge of cash to build from.

 

Do you think the Man Utd lad is now not coming? Perhaps we were waiting in these two deals coming through, and now they have, he’s surplus to requirements.

Would still love another permanent striker brought in. I doubt it will be Beesley though. He is so crucial to their survival chances that they will be quoting silly money.

 

Deals done according to a Man Utd journo (and Grant McCann), they are just waiting to announce it. Might be thinking if he's not fit to play, what's the point in announcing it yet when we can just do it sunday/monday?

 

I think Kav will do really well if he heads to Oldham.

Or given McCann’s comments, maybe just trying to keep an element of surprise? Wouldn’t be shocked to see him on the bench today to be honest.
