I hope they are paying his wages! This would be a typical Sparks PR move. Sign a player who has (had) the wow factor and has been on tv, and hope ppl forget that was years ago. Couple that with us paying the majority of his wages, meaning we can’t bring anyone else in other than kids on peanuts. I’m really suprised we haven’t had the usual “City signing imminent today”, only for it to be a two year contract extension for Kieron Kelly. if there’s one thing predictable about our deadline signings, it’s the way we seem to scramble hopelessly and desperately until midnight EACH year.

 

Mullins did well at Wrexham because he had decent players around him have we ?????
Is GA gonna have a weird idea in actually playing Humphries in his right posistion ???
Is he gonna realise that the next player out of the door should be Tyriek Wright my god all them folk defending him a wide man who cannot beat a man or cross a ball but hey he can run about

Hadn't really heard what or how long injury wise. Surprised given how important he is.

Then again we all find ourselves grabbing at theories and trying to understand just what the feck is going on.

Particularly as GA seems to be acting like he's on the trombone on the deck of a famous sailing in 1912, all whilst the rest of the club have gone all mute.

 

If it's Mullin, we may as well pack it in. Another player like Joe White who was so bad at this level he was sent back from his loan early.

Another signing that would fail to add any sort of proven quality to this squad.

 

We wont have to stay up late this year as the deadline is 7pm on Monday

What I want to know is why were we not prepared for the January push?

 

It's really amusing when folks are melting down over 1.) A signing that hasn't been confirmed.. and 2.) We have no idea how he'll perform in this team and what tactics we'd employ.

Look at the signings and rumours:
White - awful really poor had poor loan at orient.
Ashby - meh - not played much and it shows
Sibley - not played much injured surprise surprise
(Rumour )Wheatley - 3 goals struggling Northampton team
(Rumour) Mullin - in a struggling Wigan team, loan terminated

Even the most blinkered fans can see that’s no where near good enough absolutely no strategy or long term thinking. Sharpe, Sparks and Rupp are letting the fans down and the players who need help.

 

My kid brother lives in Adelaide, so always stays up late on match days, at least he isn’t at the games anymore and can turn the tv or radio off

 

Lets be very honest with all the players going out and the tough January we knew was incoming if we had any ambition of promotion then all our dealings would have been done very early in the month ............this simply shows now that we had never ever had any intent in having a go sadly ..............the thing they dont get that even with a bit of investment or looking to have a bit of a go the fans would have still been onside ..............we aint stupid we all know we cannot througg millions at it but show something at least

Now we could end up come the end of the season a pissed of fanbase a big drop in POTD sales and a squad that is shot to bits and we sll know how that turns out in the following season

It’s the current crop I feel for they’ve done well really well and need some support and they must be thinking eh… example White he’s contributed to square root of nothing at orient and gets to come in here. It’s standards which i thought GA was massive on. Not one ounce of long term thinking which suggests nothings changed they are just to short term and not strategic as operators and it will drag us back to league 2. We’ve hit our ceiling how depressing.

In my earlier rant, I did not name players, but there is a certain winger named ,winger in the looses of terms that I have argued till I am blue in the face with fans around me that he is not good enough . He is trying though, so that makes it ok
