    He did we bought Charlie Wyke and Alex Jones. Then Edin went crazy in the transfer market and put us 2.5 million in debt.

    TBF he did. We went out and signed Charlie Wyke, Alex Jones and Gilliead.

    McCall ball with too many draws cost us. Undefated at VP all season.

    Remember him scoring 10 in 21 for vale, before being recalled by his parent club and sold to us

    was a good finisher, just didn't fit the system, and also got injured a lot

    Came with a bit of fanfare, scored a few on loan for Port Vale. He started off ok, looked a player, then faded. Scored 10 in 30 for us. Not bad...

    I thought he was decent, but has struggled since leaving us. I wonder if he’s had any bad injuries?

    Plus, he never listened to me about the "7,823 headers per game on target" stat I provided for them about big Vadaine.

    Decent player, however repeatedly injured and never really recovered. He actually had a cameo subs appearance for us in the 2017 Play Off final

    We did but according to my Sheffield Utd supporting colleague we got about £175 K for Hanson whilst Wyke cost £250 K plus 20% VAT which would have put the fee up to £300K, I think Jones cost about £75K. Put it this way Julian Rhodes said in a book about City that there was no way him and Lawn could have afforded to bring in Wyke.

    Only the agents fees that clubs pay would be subject to VAT. Clubs don't usually pay it on transfer fees.

    Not forgetting Romain Vincelot for £80k, Jacob Hanson for £35k and Colin Doyle for a quid!

    The real waste came the season after. Shay McCartan for £200k, Jake Reeves for £150k and Dom Poleon for £100k.

    £450k (£635k in today’s money) - in return we got 135 apps - 16 goals - 6 assists collectively.

    Well over £1m after you factor in wages, bonuses and fees.
