    Home v Cardiff
    Away v Huddersfield
    Away v Lincoln

Three absolutely massive games up next. Results of which could shape our season. Would love to go unbeaten and maybe 5 points would be a great return. In that scenario (1 win and 2 draws) who would you want the single win to come against?

Although I'd love to do the double over Huddersfield, I think I'd pick Lincoln and hope to build up a bit of a gap between us and third spot.

Agree Lincoln are the form team at the moment someone has to put a break on them why not us.

If we are still in an automatic promotion place after these three matches I will be happy

If we can maintain our current PPG we will finish top 2.
Lincoln will be the toughest IMO but if we can beat Cardiff and Huddersfield we can afford a defeat at Lincoln.
The most likely scenario IMO with the unknown quantity of new signings is a narrow win on Saturday, a draw at Hudds and a loss at Lincoln. So after these games we would have to better our form of the first half of the season.. get back to the form of the first quarter and we can get automatics. If not, I think we will be battling in the playoffs come the end of the season.

Be delighted being unbeaten across these 3 games, with at least 1 win

The answer here is always something like 8 or 11 pts :p - let’s achieve the unachievable.

Cardiff - win - hoping that squad refresh injects some life. Cardiff games have been low-scoring recently - they can’t sign anybody yet. Need to keep Salech quiet.

    Town - draw.

Lincoln - admittedly, on form, but they were no great shakes at VP. A sneaky win.

7pts and well placed for a title push as we unveil our new number 9.
    # - on my 4th coffee this morning!

Being realistic we'll probably lose one but 4 points or more would be decent. Agree with others that a win against Lincoln would really shift momentum and a draw at town would suit us and stop them gaining any ground

7 or 8 points and we are well set for a proper push for automatic promotion

I think 3 points or more and we'll still be in a great position.

Three very tough fixtures. If we're going to drop points anywhere it's in these games.

I don't think our promotion chances will be defined with how we fair vs Cardiff or Lincoln, but beating the Rotherhams of the league consistently.

Just as we don't want to lose to either Cardiff or Lincoln with how the league table looks, they will be of the same mindset. I'd expect two close games. I would take 2 draws there, but hopefully we can get a win against Cardiff. With us not playing last Saturday, GA has had extra time to work with the players and get the loanees involved, which is a positive for this run of games.

5 points from these games would be great.

Is 9 points too late to write to Santa for?

Conversely though, even a mini disaster and a return of zero would still leave us in a great position to attack the last 3 months so we should just relax and enjoy these high profile games while getting behind the team as much as possible.

    Exactly

We play top,2nd and 5th in the next 3 games.

Nobody expected us to be in this position at the start of the season so whatever happens won’t be certain promotion or a mini disaster.

    Just enjoy the ride.

I thought Lincoln were very solid and workmanlike at VP, not pretty, much like ourselves. A lot to like about how they play. As people have said about us recently, simple but effective and very good at what we do.

The minimum - avoid defeat for me. In some ways probably 3pts from 3 draws would be better than 4pts all things considered.

But no reason why we cant take 5-6pts.

This is gonna be the toughest run of games we have had for a long time.
If you factor in Luton away and bogey side Doncaster into the equation it could be a hell of a ride.
A bit scary but somewhat exciting at the same time.
A statement win on Saturday against the league leaders will make the others nervy as well.
    Let's back the lads whatever..
    ..come on City!

There isnt an easy game for some time really. Next 3 are as mentioned, then it's Donny and our record against them is pretty rough lately, McCann has the better of Alexander for 4 matches in a row. Luton away isnt going to be easy, Peterborough are climbing now and are my pick to sneak into the play offs by the end of the season and then it's Stockport on Feb 17th. The next month really is stupidly tough for us. Hopefully we are at worst still within touching distance of the autos come the end of the run.
