It's silly season for rumours right now. Leigh's dad dismissed that rumour from the Mansfield game as bullish!t and has come out and said this latest one is nonsense too. I think this latest one was started by an account that also said a couple of days before the Mansfield game that Kav had had a bust up with GA and would never play for us again.......
Cooky's wife has also said this morning the rumour about Cook and Patto having a fallout is complete BS.

 

Well at least we can thank him for his sand wedge chip into the box for the promotion goal.

 

I wonder why people like me continually berate the unmitigated nonsense posted to Twitter and such like and see it repeated as if fact ad nauseum ? .

Jak Alnwick, who was the Cardiff captain for chunks of last season but hasn't played a minute so far this campaign in goal is signing for Huddersfield to replace Goodman who is going to be recalled by Palace. Huddersfield are selling Ben Wiles to MK Dons. Sounds like Castledine is also going to be moved on this window, Watford are heavily rumoured to be in talks with Chelsea to take him for £1m.

Mansfield are taking Jon Russell on loan from Barnsley and are in talks with Bolton for Victor Adeboyejo with Orient also in talks too for a Loan move. Curtis Nelson looks to be joining Plymouth again and Ricardo Santos sounds like he is going to join Reading on loan.

Feels like the window is ramping up around the league again this week.

 

Rupp to get his cheque book out and make a Castledine statement signing. Would be value for money just based on the pure entertainment of watching the Dog Botherer fan melt down.

 

I mean, my first thought was, why would a player with no affiliation to a club other than playing for them, be sat in the away end if he were set to leave? But hey, suppose we all think differently. The world could be flat and aliens may have built the pyramids for all we know.

 

If Castledine genuinely is being recalled from the kennels that is excellent news. He’s been their standout player this season.

Doggies on their forum reckon he’s worth double the £1m supposedly being paid by Watford and that they could easily pay it. Doubting whether Chelsea would really sell him for £1m.

 

Always liked Curtis Nelson, had a decent career and sure we have been linked with him a few times. We should be making a move for him. And seeing if Curtis Davies fancies putting his boots back on. The 3 Curtis's could make up our defence. Ground breaking.

 

I saw some on Facebook suggesting he was a £10m player. Chelsea selling for £1m makes little sense - its chicken feed to them. Be better loaning him out to the Championship and seeing if they can get a few bob in the summer.

Talking to a Hudds supporter this morning and he says he disappears during games too frequently , and he suspected he is going to the CC on LOAN , as you suggest . Chelsea do have the Jan recall in the deal.

 

They just offer him a new one and send him out on loan again for a bigger rental fee!

 

They have a 1 year option plus he is under 23 so a tribunal settles the fee.
