Sibley is an option at LWB but surely brought in as a CM/AM first and foremost. Positions we lack depth.

Richards has to follow Pattison out of the door unfortuantely. We cant be paying players a wage to miss games consistently or have long spells out. That is not David Sharpes strategy....

 

I remember how excited people were when Wagmi were wanting to take us over and the meltdown when Rupp turned it down. They would have been a disaster for us.

 

It seems that as soon as any player is out of favour the rumour starts that it is because of an argument with the manager, the same rumour seems to be starting with Cook. Ultimately I think the reason is simply that he's lost the trust of the manager with that Barnsley game being one of the games that contributed to it. With us playing only 2 in midfield we can't afford to have someone in their who presses at the wrong times which is one of the reasons Metcalfe has done so well over the last month.
It's a good move for him and good that we can get a bit of money for him.

I think the Huddersfield game was the start. Patto was all over the place in the first 15 minutes when Huddersfield were in the ascendency. His injury allowed us to reorganise and play in a more structured way.

A very talented footballer at this level and I enjoyed watching him when he was on form. He just didn't quite fit with how we've evolved as a team.
