The Pattison one was pure bad luck. The others are just normal football incidents that can happen to anyone. I think we are just following the protocols properly whereas other teams might be ignoring them a bit which is an issue in football. I would much rather we are caution and look after the players even if that means they miss 2 weeks than risk their health.

The way that refs seem to have to wave on physios after even the slightest bump to the head is a bit over the top to me.

There were 2 incidents last night where there was an accidental clash and both the City and Rotherham players just wanted to get on with it. The one involving Pointon in injury time was bizarre, and the ref didnt even add on the additional time taken out.

 

I'm disagreeing with you..

But dropping points when we really shouldn't "may" cost a playoff spot or better.

 

I know folk are going on about more dropped points last night but on the bigger scale .............we have took 9 points from a possible 18 nothing to be sniffed at really .............we keep that up along with our home form we wont be far off

 

GA may not feel he is ready and may err on the side of caution and for now just use him off the bench.

 

I have said this he looks class at home but struggles away maybe it's how we or other teams set up.

 

I prefer whatever system GA uses that gets us points. Missed chances and Power's steadying influence cost us tonight.

 

Not surprised with the hapless Bryne on the right of the 3. Bryne was all over the place and simply had to effect Josh.

 

He has had 6 games off the bench. Been back 5 weeks.

 

Saravic and Neufville link up well usually but the former was well marked down the right so Neufville was less effective

 

Great point in hindsight given the injuries/disruption at the back.

Not an amazing performance, by their standards, but still enjoy watching city on the break and press.

The miss of Max was clear...however, even sat near the bench you can see what an amazing asset and captain wr have. Could see him urging tha lads on...and to me looks like a great future on the touchline given his character and application. Some amazing characters we have from big Chris and the gaffer through the squad with lads like Brad. Love em!

Was gutted at Lincoln postponed but will happily take that. Even if it means a gap for us watching this wonderful squad.

 

Liverpool lost to Palace there is no divine right to win matches particularly away games. Rotherham made it very hard for us and deserved their point. We have far exceeded preseason expectations better not get to far ahead of ourselves

 

I wonder how long it will be before a referee awards a corner kick when a keeper has held the ball for longer than his allotted time? Probably when referees learn to stop their watches if an injury occurs in added time/

 

Sorry if this has been mentioned but what was Pattison’s problem yesterday after he scored, looking angry and shushing the fans?

 

We knew that last year though, it's an absolute nonsense he's still featuring one s year later.

I can only guess that GA doesn't believe JWright is fit enough to start currently, in which case it's a straight choice between Byrne and Kelly given the injuries we currently have. Neither are good enough and when we have a full quota to choose from, I doubt neither will be anywhere near the starting 11.
