Great point, we've got the very underused Lapslie on the bench who's played in the other cup ties. I know Swan wasn't available but I'd add him to the three you mentioned, that teams success is built on what Eddie Howe alluded to as being a unique style and it's all built on press. If you can't press, unless you can guarantee goals like Cooky does then I'm not sure what a player brings to the table in how we play.

 

They must know certain individuals are fit enough to cope through Scarborough’s and Sports Science data , ie there mustn’t be any signs of deterioration in those you name . Spoke on the pone with @Rogered Tart this morning with regards players input last night, both Humphry's and Powell being poor, and saying Alexander can't continue playing Humphry's in a position he says he made clear to any suitors before leaving Barnsley he was not happy playing, I do believe he could play in a wider role but at the moment IMO to be a regular starter you have to start putting (sorry to say) gifts like that cross from Pointon away, on present form Pointon, Sarcevic, Swan, and Pattison are the players he needs to remove one of them from the starting 11.

 

Let's hope its the tonsilitis situation that he's frustrated about because even though I've been frustrated with the lad he does have the ability to cause defenders problems but I feel at times his decision making with regards a pass or a shot is poor, for me he wants to score the wonder strike to say this is what I'm capable of, I'd be more than happy for him to get the last touch on a lose ball inside the 6 yard box, I'm honestly trying to be constructive as I've said above the lad has the ability but at times looks to be trying too hard.

He's got a key role to play this season has Cooky. Not convinced at all by Humphrey, certainly not as a 9. Swan and Cook sharing the load up top sounds good to me, possibly with an addition in Jan if we're still top 6.
