    What I find more annoying is how the BBC Football website dovetails mens and womens news stories on the same page.

    Thinking a headline refers to the men's team when it actually refers to the women's happens on a daily basis nowadays.

    I see there’s another live game on BBC this afternoon. I know they’re trying to promote it but it’s not great viewing.
    Chelsea ladies just scored twice in a few minutes and I was wondering if it was ROD in disguise in net.

    If the viewing figures aren’t there it will stop. If the figures are then it will stay.

    if you don’t like it just switch it off. I think there are a few other channels to pick from

    I’m not watching it. Turned TV on and it was still on BBC from Match of the Day last night. Just happened to be in the 5 mins Chelsea scored twice and ROD came straight into my mind. Lol

    I got excited over the news of a new striker only to find it was the ladies team.

    Why I can’t I state my opinion that womens football is shite and shouldn’t be on a major broadcasting channel that the public pay a license fee for without accusations of mysogyny?

    They put tennis on TV for about 2 weeks solid in summer, often on both channels. I don't like tennis so I don't watch it. It's really easy.

    But many millions do like tennis, especially Wimbledon. The same can’t be said of ladies football.

    Just had a look and 800,000 watched Man City v Everton at start of season. 2.2m watched the FA Cup Final 2019 so there is a market there.
