Regarding point 1 - genuine figure based on my own assessment of counting tv advert breaks and counting the number with black actors.
It’s not an issue, I’m simply saying it’s contrived, and I think @trevor sums it up perfectly.

in some cases, adverts might actually put people off buying a particular brand. Take Uncle Ben’s rice for example - they have rebranded and taken the black man off the packets, and there has been a big backlash of people saying they won’t buy that brand again.

The balance is all wrong, it’s all gone too far the other way. Contrived like I said.
