Why so many injuries!

From the Hopkin press conference for the Charlton match it seems that Scannell is back training but might not be ready for tomorrow and Reeves should be back around the end of the month. Everyone else (which I took to be Wright, Akpan, Jones, Chicksen and maybe Mellor) is expected to be sidelined for longer which is one hell of an injury list to have to deal with.

 

Two pre seasons in about 2 months won’t be helping anyone

 

Lack of fitness

 

Because Edin can't do every job fitness coach must be a tad too far.

 

What's up with Jones this time? For a young lad he seems very injury prone, and he doesn't seem to get stuff that has him out for a week or. It always seems to many months.

 

Not sure however fit you are stops you breaking your leg or dislocating a shoulder

 

Totally agree, I don’t think you can play this down in anyway. Muscle injuries are more likely if fitness levels are not at the required standard

Our season has been littered with individual mistakes and this could be also down to fatigue.

Scandalous that we are not fit enough (Hopkin pretty much confirms this in 2 interviews this week ) but does give you cause for optimism that we are likely to improve over the coming weeks as we get fitter

 

There definitely seems to be a fundamental problem with injuries. Hopkin was alluding to something not being right when he spoke about ice baths and nutrition bars. You’d have thought an A licence coach would have known all this? Or perhaps the fact we’ve gone through 37 different fitness coaches hasn’t helped

33 of them are called Edin..

 

You can’t knock a trier lol

 

It will be the plaintiff cry ‘whose he’ completely new team for me, first competitive match since last season. Can’t remember the last time I saw City win easily and put in a great performance.

 

A trier can get a knock though.
