Time wil tell @Fordy117@Fordy117 but he’s our only hope to get us out of this mess that Rahic left us in. If in the meantime a billionaire wants to take over the club and the debts ,plus the uncertainty the virus will cause football in general I will welcome the person with open arms.

Then I’ll go further for you. I would say Rupp is the only hope we have right now to get us out of this mess created by Rahic and I do also blame Rupp for negligence. I am certain though that he is committed to putting right the wrongs of the last few years and the next few months are critical for Bradford City and football in general.

You say how is he funding us and he’s doing no better than Rhodes. Do you really think that without a cup run since 2015 Rhodes would have sanctioned a 2.5 million budget last summer? This was with no guarantee McBurnie would be sold. Not his fault Bowyer made a mess of that budget with stacks of mediocre midfielders and using a large percentage on veteran strikers.

Were you asleep throughout the whole of January? We replaced Doyle with Novak, Vaughan with Guthrie, signed 2 unknowns in DMH and Middleton, and yet you still think our main co owner is out there making major sacrifices for the club?

At the end of the day, the proof will be in the pudding. £3M from Mcburnie (which will be lying around somewhere as Rupp was financing us) in addition to Rupp allegedly still putting his own money in surely means we’re going to dwarf virtually every other league club budget wise for years to come? How much do you want to bet that doesn’t happen?

Time will tell what happens in the summer, been nice debating with you @Tolly856@Tolly856 I will leave you with the quote from Wetherby whaler who really does know what's going on at the club post number 329 on this thread.

I hope they make a decision soon on the season, we could rip that monstrosity of a pitch up and get it fixed with the spare time if we know there’s no footy

Rupp isn't spending the true cost to fix the pitch.

Please understand he's an owner that ticks. He lacks drive and ambition for the club. We could have no football for 2 years and he wouldn't spend true money it would take to fix the pitch for good.

To be honest... because we don't own the stadium! I don't blame him ha.

You have just described a man who is worth multi multi millions more than you and you say he lacks drive and ambition?

I think people are intentionally underestimating the amount of financial damage last season did.

If Rhodes owned City, rather than Rupp, I'm pretty sure admin would have been a reality, as he wouldn't have the millions to cover the losses (just as he didn't have the money in the more extreme post-Richmond era).

Whether it was Rupp's fault or not, at least Rupp is sticking around to heal the wounds he created - unlike Geoffrey Richmond, who couldn't bail fast enough.

Richmond overspent, but achieved, then ditched us - Rupp failed, overspent, but has funded us in light of that failure.

Rupp certainly isn't the most morally bankrupt chairman this club has had, and I still read good things about Richmond from time to time, which I personally find embarrassing. Rupp's term hasn't actually ended, so we don't know that all he can deliver is failure - as for Geoffrey, he proved he could deliver success if you don't mind the odd few decades of catastrophic failure thereafter.

If games go ahead behind closed doors presumably ? Our season tickets then "get us in" on IFollow for free ? But will there be an option to roll over the remaining games to 20/21 rather than watch them on IFollow ? Personally I'd be happy for rest of this season to be played out behind closed doors so I cant watch it ! Rather roll over a bit of "match credit" for next when we might have a team half worth watching after Stuarts performed some surgery.

I'll take Richmond’s roller coaster ride, best time ever following this club. The likes of which we will never see again.

Another day in self isolation should have been setting off to VP to watch us against Colchester not the most appealing fixture but it looks pretty good at the moment

I'd have been working my 26th consecutive Grand National... That's very appealing in my world....
