    On Grandad duties today, so its Peppa Pig.

    Later though it will be Riviera, halfway through 3rd series

    Saw Richard Schiff on tv this morning, which has reminded me to get back into West Wing. Waltzed through first 3 series of that last Christmas but then put it to one side for something different, very classy tv series

    Just watched the first two series of The Bridge, excellent Danish/Swedish drama, which I missed when it was first aired.

    Sofia Helin has totally bewitched me watching this

    No not watched Borgen. I was always put off watching these Scandinavian dramas as I thought the subtitles would put me off. I eventually bit the bullet, due to all the superb reviews of The Killing, and watched all series of that earlier this year, which I enjoyed. I do prefer The Bridge so far though.

    I must admit the subtitles were not an issue at all, and I cannot imagine watching without the Danish and Swedish language. Indeed, I think my Danish is coming on really well for it!

    So true. Definitely picked up a smattering of Scandinavian languages over the years. Although I'm not sure how useful phrases relating to cause of death and witness statements are.

    Borgen is definitely worth a watch.

    Other Scandinavian series I've watched include Bordertown, Young Wallender, Trapped, Wisting and The Valhalla Murders.
