    Quite a bit of Status Quo recently.

    I got talking to a Quo fan in The Royal Hotel in Whitby three weeks ago.

    You get what you get from Quo, no pretence, just pure twelve bar.

    I keep returning to this show -- a smoking-hot Men Without Hats with probably my favourite line-up. (For whatever reason the uploader doubled the length by repeating many of the songs in random order; the actual concert is just over 1 hour in length.)

    Tonight The Animals and Friends at Selby Town Hall.

    They are a very good band obviously playing all The Animals tracks.

    John Steel (the original Animals drummer, and founder member with Eric Burden).

    Got some of his drum sticks (bought by my daughter) for my birthday in July.

    A music icon, the rest of the band are just amazing musicians.

    Next Tuesday The Albion Christmas band in Otley.

    My daughter is a friend of Ashley Hutchins (one of the founder members of Fairport Convention and the founder of Steeleye Span).

    According to Spotify wrapped I've been listening to an awful lot of kpop and Oasis

    TBH while I have been on a bit of a Korean cultural kick in general I'm surprised it's dominated by kpop as much as it is, maybe I just listen to such a wide array of music that it only takes a few extra listens to skew it especially when Spotify's shuffle is fairly poor and just seems to decide at random what songs to favour rather than be fully random.

    Also surprised the Daisy Jones and the Six soundtrack didn't make an impact (if you haven't watched Daisy Jones and the Six on Amazon btw I would advise it, especially if you like 70s music as it draws alot if inspiration from that era especially to Fleetwood mac)
