Just over 400 at close last night but your comment is a useful reminder to those travelling.
I'm sure the Club may make a formal comment but can I use your post to remind all City fans that this fixture last season was the second of three games where we ended up under investigation by the F.A. after smoke bombs and a pitch incursion. The others being Rochdale(A) and Posh (H).
Like everyone on here I'm looking for a win on Saturday but PLEASE temper your enthusiasm and contain it on the terraces with no pyrotechnics or smoke. Our voices do far more for the lads than bad behaviour which is a distraction.
Enjoy the game, those who travel, and thanks in advance from me, I do get fed up writing to the F.A. to defend the indefensible some times.

 

I like Pritchard and Donnelly. Both offer far more than Scannell and Gibson ever did.

 

Some on here complain about Simon Parker, but I've just read Walsall's local journalist's opposition piece, which states that if he stays fit Sean Scannell will be a handful in this division , Paudie is on loan from Leeds and Zeli will be on the bench tomorrow!

 

Who cares he couldn't do it here... Forget him he's gone get over it.

 

Say what you like about the manner of the victory or the performance but this team are survivors, they know how to win by fine margins.

Great result not a great performance, but away from home clean sheet and a late winner, I’ll take it every day of the week please. Those saying we were lucky, it’s not like we haven’t been unlucky to lose games that should have been a draw, Forest Green for starters. And they didn’t have a goal disallowed and missed penalty.

Onto a difficult Cheltenham now, we’ll have to be at the races to get a win there. I’d take a draw before a ball is kicked, but no reason Bowyer and the boys won’t be going for all 3.

 

Haha - yes me! I always cringe when somebody rolls out stats of another teams poor run of form. Maybe it's just my imagination but I always think we are the team to play if the opposition are in need of an end to a poor run.

That said, I'm going to be positive and say, 'not this time!'.

 

Could be a case of Cooke still fit enough to play 90, we don’t see training everyday. But in an ideal world Cooke definitely starts over Devine.

Another clean sheet, which is very pleasing after the defensive horror shows of last season. Keep this back 4 and keeper settled and free of injuries, and we will be hard to beat

 

I hate knocking players, especially local lads. However, he is National League level at best. Amazed he was offered a new contract. Hopefully, Cooke fit enough to start and play 90 mins on Tuesday

 

Totally agree Dave we had a slight issue at Crewe. Stewards were telling us to sit in our own seats but the area had been taken over by the young guys. I think away games should be sit anywhere unless you can select your seat when purchasing but that never happens.

 

Yup just like the 3-2 loss and 4 nil home win of the same season....

 

And the 3 3 draw at their place the year before.

 

Whilst Devine isnt good enough, they both do at least put in the effort. Akpan is at least a stone overweight and cant run. He looks disinterested and doesnt deserve to feature on that basis alone.
