Are you in love with these blokes, the theme is getting repetitive Steve. The manager and the players deserve the accolades not how the club was purchased. Every time you bang on about them it deflects from what happened on the green stuff.
You honestly believe the same would have happened at VP…..really?

Of course they do it shows what can be done but don't forget who appointed the manager
Feel free to ignore my posts if you find them "repetitive"

Those American boys wouldn’t have got a clue about Scott lindsay, they got lucky and found a gem. He’d just had a mediocre 6 months at Swindon, they were in turmoil last summer and it came off for them. He certainly won’t be at Crawley for long.

    Ok they got lucky then
We must be very unlucky then judging by the managerial merry go round at our club

If they play like that against Crewe they will win but Crewe aim to strangle the life out of you with negative tactics and then sneak a win. Having said all that MKD are not as good as they think, as said elsewhere on here, they've had some beatings, including at VP and looking at Williamson last night, his body language said it all. He's of in the next two weeks and Barnsley is nearer Newcastle after all.

Meanwhile our German boy and shite CEO have a great ideal about managers? Really!

You can’t say Crawley have been lucky while we just fail.Bradford City the best failure of a club currently in English football.

Crawley's owners have invested heavily in the infrastructure at Crawley.
They also have a clear idea of what they want and how they want to go about it.
Of course some folk on here just want to stick to the narrative of nutcase nerds from America with no idea about football and their magic beans funding.
Okay, so they haven't got it right all of the time. But they stuck to the original plan and it's bearing fruit.
Whereas we bounce from one manager to another with no clear plans other than selling lots of season tickets and hoping one of these days we'll have a manager who'll deliver something like success.
You tell me which is the basket case football club?

Coulda, woulda, shoulda, although as you say they looked a good side going forward, kept it on the deck, but we overcame that and as you rightly say with minutes to go we couldn't see the game out.
I've not followed their resent form until the play offs but both legs were impressive, the commentator mentioned they have been beaten twice by Crewe who they play in the final, one off game it's who can take the occasion in and not freeze, but watching both semi finals I would have to back Crawley.

After they sacked John Yems there on their 3rd manager, Kevin Betsy, Matthew Ethrington and now Scott Lindsay. They’ve also had 2 caretakers in between. As I said they got lucky this time.

Yet all the teams you mention finished above ourselves. I know where I’d rather have finished and it certainly isn’t 9th. They were successful, we failed miserably as usual

Our owner and CEO are rotten to the core, ex-players coming out publicly and saying it’s not the players, not the managers, it’s “something” at the club. Yet we have a good finish to the season and most of our fans let them off the hook after another season of failure

That must be Crawley who are the basket case club
Which City fan wants to go to the likes of Birmingham Huddersfield Barnsley and Rotherham
When they could visit Barrow Harrogate Bromley and Newport
Must be something in those magic beans

    And the ones before him
Seeing as you asked, the same people who recruited all those who failed before Scott Lindsay , which was ALL of their managers since April 2022. If they have a “ secret” formula when recruiting managers it’s utterly failed until Lindsay came along .

Sometimes it just clicks for a manager and to be fair to the lad at Crawley, to do it in such difficult circumstances is testament to his effort. Very similar to when Parky took over us, we were a basket case at the time just like Crawley.

I've posted it several times now yet once again the MK Dons manager in his post match interview was complementary in his praise for his players (yes you would expect that sort of comment) but as you say they were dire both games plan or no plan
Once again saying they played his way until the last 17 minutes so they believed in him and their ability to play his system, I've heard some crap but that took the biscuit,
Have a listen 1:10 minutes in.

    Or Crawley……….?

How do you explain away the recruitment of GA by City with a historical win ratio of 43.4% compared to SL’s of 39%. One doesn’t need to be a maths genius to calculate the historical significant numbers over a longer period of the two?
Are you able to show us the calculations of why SL would have been a better choice at the applicable period in time based on some imaginary magic bean formula? What is the formula you suggest exists and are you able to provide a copy? If not then I’m afraid as others alluded to its a mix of fortune and sheer hard work.

For the record GA win ratio at BCFC is 51%, Mr Lindsay’s win ratio at Crawley is 10% LESS.

They have done extremely well , let’s not take that away from them but stop suggesting it’s due to some bitcoin recruitment magic formula you suggest exists yet can’t provide any evidence just a “ narrative”.

Obviously a lot of Crawleys success is down to the manager, but let’s not underestimate the players. Most of them were L2 and non-league players, that were surplus to requirements and led to believe that they weren’t good enough by their respective clubs. Take Orsi for example, he was struggling to even make the bench at a very poor Grimsby team, and now he’s going to finish as the L2 golden boot winner and likely be promoted. That sort of coming together has galvanised those players into the fearless unit they’ve become. Fair play to them
