    Most National League sides wouldn't want to be in it, even if they did it doesn't solve the issue which caused u21 teams to be in it. Before they entered and put money into the competition it was becoming financially unviable to run as it was costing clubs money with low attendances and no prize money. It was also used as a blackmailing tool by the Premier League as they had threatened to reduce the solidarity payments to EFL clubs if the u21 clubs weren't allowed in it.

    And some of them rejected entry into it.

    I struggle to see that competition lasting long, the group stage quickly sees games being meaningless and as things stand with 1 game left for most teams 3 of the 8 quarter finalists will be u21 teams and at the quarter final stage it becomes national, I can't see many Oldham fans travelling to Maidenhead on a Tuesday night in this. Also the final is a Tuesday night with the league not confirming where it will be played.

    regional semis Bradford , Bolton, Rotherham and one of Wrexham/Port vale left in the northern draw
    Its so exciting , i can hardly contain myself.

    The next round is regional, and we can only get one of four teams (until Wrexham and Port Vale play) then it's one of three.

    After that it's an open draw.

    Birmingham City appear to be taking this seriously and took over 1,000 down to Swindon on Tuesday, so should they get to the final there would a quite a bumper crowd. Infact there are still some very well supported clubs in the tournament as Bolton would take around 30k down to Wembley seeing as their league campaign is falling apart.

    I would throw all the welsh clubs out of the English football league
    Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, Newport
    Whilst we are at it expunge all their results, thus awarding the 2013 league cup to us. An actual English team

    None of them will ever get near to europe whilst they remain in the English league, so lets stitch up the smaller clubs in Wales, so we can get our snouts in the gravy train.

    Personally I think they should be allowed to do it, but wouldn't be allowed to enter any competition that can reward teams with European places, so no FA Cup, no League Cup, no Premier League
