What Park keeps saying is that they is no sugar dad out there blah blah blah but we are owned buy someone who has plenty of money. 150m, 150 gold coins call it what you want but he has money and plenty of it.

So the issue isn't finding someone that has money the issue is that our owner is playing games with the club and is as bad as Edin.

As for the 6m you're quoting. I was pointing out that Mr Rupp needs to take a bigger hit. If he doesn't want to be here, if he doesn't want to move the club forward then take a hit and sell the club. Move on! Stop wasting everybody's time. Before you say he's a businessman why take a hit well ex football owners do take a hit. Some have sold for a pound to get out of football.

Rupp, Bowyer and Rhodes just need to leave. Fans are falling out with each other, fans not wanting to go to games. The club is a mess.

I admire how you defend the likes of Park (the only person that seems too)but you know this club is in trouble if it continues as it is. You know!

Yes however much Rupp has he is wealthy but what you don’t understand is he has no desire to lose anymore money on Bradford city.
Owners are trying to get out of clubs at the moment because of the money involved.
Unless any new owners are prepared to lose a lot of money the club will continue to be run on business lines

 

Yes mate I don't disagree with you about his lack of desire as that is clear to see.

However, this is why I am starting to think him and Edin plotted this together. Everyone knows in business that football is a loss leader, so why would a man with no interest by a football club?

Football clubs are being sold. If Rupp wants to sell he could do but he will have to take a massive hit.

I just think fans are being played with this Mr Rupp isn't in to football line.

 

Rupp will lose more money in League One than he will in League Two if our season ticket sales are poor.

Up to now the club have benefited from good backing from the fans but with so many turned off by Bowyer we are going to be in reeeeeaaaaal trouble in the summer.

If we lose 4k fans, say, and end up with 8,000 fans paying peanuts, what sort of budget is that gonna leave us with? The prices have been set now and some (albeit not many) have already been sold. They can't put them back up for next season now.

The only way the club saves itself is if Bowyer delivers promotion or Bowyer walks and the fans get back onside. it seems the club are sticking with Bowyer, so the only thing that makes sense is for the board to give Bowyer funds today to replace the lost quality.

Won't hold my breath, mind.

 

Or we could ask the manager to adopt a more progressive approach and one not from the dark ages which flogs centre forwards to death with zero reward.

I reduced it by 4m because 1) The ambition to go up seems to have gone 2) season ticket sales will be lower 3) the business dealings recently highlights to be he doesn't care and with that might as well just take the hit and sell.

Could I run the club better - 100% but so could you.

It is complete drivel given out to the fans, so they can pretend he is one of our own crap!! When what really turns them on is the ££££’S going into their padded bank accounts. Before anyone tells me off for being cynical I fully admit it.

 

Fordy also seems to think all Rupp's money in an easy access savings account. Someone with that much wealth will have a very good proportion of it tied up in assets for getting term growth or things like property that cannot be realised easily. Besides which he may well want to keep most of it for other purposes.

All I look at at is that since he has owed the club it's been a joke and we have gone backwards.
