Getting that core strength up for the season ahead.

Remember McArdle had his wrestling technique down a few years back.

Rory's tackle/sacking was the best I have ever seen apart from Joe Cookes head butts in a actual game......

Anything when it comes to fitness is unusual to you @Park bantam@Park bantam

You still think pre season training is about just running as you're that much on your cloud.

The reason for this is to build your core and strength. League 2 is a awful league that's aggressive and we need not to be bullied.

Really good. Improves the core, plus releasing tightness and improves flexibility.. All good stuff.

also will be good for general conditioning as mma fitness levels are insane compared to footballers. And hopefully might even put a bit of fight and competitiveness in them!

Anyone currently down at Apperley Bridge? I’m thinking of heading down, but I’m not sure what time they finish training?

    Yes, I’m a sad Twit.

They usually start at 10.15 and it went on until at least 12 the other day when I went down. Not sure what time the afternoon sessions start/finish

Got there for 12ish and they were preparing to go in for lunch. I quizzed Drury on this afternoons’ schedule and he advised it was all running - nothing to see here, then.

Bowyer and the coaching staff must’ve spent a good 20 mins fishing balls from the edges after the session - and by that point, I’d seen enough.

Up to the Stansfield Arms it is then, but that was closed due to refurbishment.

Oh well, best get my credit card out for The Moody Cow....

    Indeed, it was lovely.

Did you hear any random names being shouted out that forumers can try guess who it was just by their first name?
