Ronnie Wallwork anyone remember him ???,

 

Didnt JJ go at the same time ????

Complete madness to let him go and to be honest everything Rhodes did that season set us back years.

Once Todd was sacked he should have brought in an experienced manager to see out the season rather than an rookie.

 

Weren't two conditions of Lawns investment that Todd went and Stuart came in ?

 

Not a clue bud but that was one of a risk to take and it backfired and if Rhodes knew he was investing then why get shut of windass ????

 

That was one hell of a goal, was there with my father that day.

 

I've had a bit to drink so I'm going to chuck this one in. Everyone's favourite sulky, armband-throwing scapegoat, Anthony O'Connor. Made great last minute blocks and goal line clearances, but could actually play a bit too. More comfortable on he ball than any of our current CBs. Right, back to the golf.

 

I was thinking more along the lines of players who missed matches through injury or suspension rather than those who played every week but went missing on the pitch

 

Judging by the reaction to his signing, can I offer Neill Byrne?

 

I remember the start of that season we played some of the best football I've seen outside the top flight. JJ was immense.

 

Steven Davies - He would be the perfect backup for Cook right now if he was 10 years younger. Liked his bully tactics on the pitch and chipped in with a few goals

 

Remember us being 2-0 down to Gillingham and win 4-2 JJ running through on goal they had no chance of stopping him

Just weird how one result ( 1-0 loss to town ) could cause such a bad downfall

 

James Vaughan wasn't underrated, he was simply uninterested in being here.
