I have to say there is nothing wrong in changing your mind. U turns aren't a bad thing, where you are correcting something wrong.

It is good to hear that a national enquiry is going to be held but beyond Robbie Moore absolutely no other Tory MP can hold their heads up over this after inaction of 14 years.

Some Tories are embarrassing at this point after holding cabinet positions in the last 14 years and being part of a government who did nothing and famously saw Boris Johnson say it is spaffing money up the wall.

It's probably only people like Robert Lowe who can claim victory from this.

 

I think you’re right to a degree, but when you’re calling those who believe the original point far right it makes it less credible. Not the first time he’s changed his mind either. If he came to the right decision first time of asking more he may not be so easy to rip to pieces.

 

Starmer hasn't called for an enquiry for the benefit of the poor young girls affected, he's done it to try and save his own own sorry arse as his political career falls apart. He meant what he said in January, just like all the other cucks who throw around terms like racism and right wing. You can try and change your narrative but the damage has been done. This country is one big sorry mess.

 

Throwing labels on people has been a way to stifle tough conversation for sometime now sadly. A lot of plebs fall for it and help push that narrative.

 

Whether these people are 'henious' or not I'm not sure.

You've seen what happens to Robinson when he tries to uncover what's gone on. Whether you love him or hate him (even he refers to himself as marmite), the guy has paid the price attacking the establishment. As you alluded to the everyday Joe on the street stays quiet through fear.

 

He reallly is a rat....he knows his days are numbered and is now back tracking to mop up centre ground support. I hope folk see throught his wretched man and party.

Speaking of which, I saw that lying toad on Question Time claiming the majority of 'refugees' coming across illegally on the boats are women and children. Who are they trying to kid?

 

As someone who doesn't watch question time I'm guessing it's now a satirical comedy sketch show if this clip is anything to go by. Is this really the level of politician we have in Westminster these days? This the same guy who voted against a national enquiry into child exploitation, is it any wonder why parties like Reform become so popular?

 

Just writing that as you replied. Their only get out of jail free card of 'you're racist/right wing' means nothing anymore. People are sick to death of their lies and deceit, that on both sides of the house.

The left hate Reform - but they need to look at themselves first and foremost. The failings of Labour are the problem and that is why Reform are surging......with the added bonus the Torys are a shower of shite.

 

Yes that card has expired - its the last chance saloon when the losing the debate. And it only fuels voters into voting for Reform even more. UKIP, Brexit Party and now Reform.....the left never seem to learn.

 

They think folk voted labour because they wanted labour, no they just didn't want more tory mismanagement, let's hope more realise that there is a more credible third choice....

This is what I don't have time for, clowns like this fella who were a minister in the last government now claiming the moral high ground on things like this when they have been utterly silent prior.

Ann Cryer was my MP who first brought up the subject and was silenced or ignored because it was easier to do so. Robbie Moore who has been MP here since 2019 has also raised this multiple times in the house of commons and many time in the local newspapers. These are the people who can actually hold their head up after calling for an inquiry, not clowns like Chris Philp who did absolutely nothing and is more concerned about this now because he sees his seat at threat from Reform than he actually cares about any victim.

How anyone can sit there with a straight face saying authorities covered it up when he was part of the government, the main authority in the UK as if they never had any power to do anything. Boris Johnson famously said an enquiry into historic child abuse was spaffing money up the wall so the Tories really don't come out of this well. Neither do Labour who saw people as Ann Cryer and later Sarah Champion as voices they would rather not hear.

 

After the Tories literally ran this country into the ground during their last tenure in government, their opinion, cos thats all it is, carries no weight whatsoever. Utterly meaningless. How these people have the brass neck to come crawling out of the woodwork where they belong is bewildering. Here's one for you was talking to a mate of mine yesterday about the bloke who killed his wife at the top of westgate, apparently doesn't have to sit through cctv footage cos it upsets his feelings.
